Peanut and Their Nutritional Aspects-A review,A research paper published in november 23rd,2012,in collaboration with 1.New Maxico State University,Las Cruces,USA:2.Department of Biotechnology,K.L.University,Guntur,India:3.National Peanut Research Laboratory,United States Department of Agriculture,Agriculture Research Service,Dawson,USA;4.Agriculture Research Service,Athens,USA.

This Research paper presents an overview of the peanut composition in terms of constituent biomolecules,and their biological functions.this paper also discusses about the relationshop between consumption of peanuts and their effect on human metabolism and physiology.It highlights the usefullness of considering peanuts as an essential component in human diet considering its nutritional values.

Introduction:It is estimated that as much as 30% of the population from many countries in the world are sufferings from malnutrition.Peanuts,which are a rich source of protein and essential amino acids, can help in preventing malnutrition.
Peanut contain lipids and carbohydrates which are energy rich compounds,capable of complementing the basic energy demands of human body.

-Copper-24% of the RDA,Copper plays a role in production of key protein in our body such as collagen and hemoglobin,which transport oxygen.

-Zinc-zinc is essential mineral for normal growth and development during pregnancy,childhood,and adolescence.Deficiency of zinc can lead to stunted growth,diarrhea,impotence,hair loss,eye and skin lesions,impaired appetite,and depressed immunity.100 gram of roasted peanuts will provide 3.31 mg of zinc.


-Selenium-Salenium is an essential mineral but needed in smaall amounts for the human body.Selenium is believed to delay or prevent the onset of cancer and also has anti-aging effects.

Peanuts are believed to have originated in Central American region from where they spread to other parts of the world.They are widely cultivated in India,Africa,South America,United States,China and few other countries.

Studies show that peanuts,peanut butter,and peanut oil significantly reduce the risk of heart disease when consumed daily,similar to other nuts.You can consume then after roasting or boiling,and processed into different forms such as peanut butter,candy,chocolates,cakes and others.


Conclusion:Peanuts are an excellent and affordable source of nutrition,supplementing vital nutrients to the human body such as proteins,carbohydrates,lipids,vitamins,minerals,and fiber.peanuts are often referred as poor man's protein but,when taken in adquate amounts in any form,will supplement rich nutrients to the body that can provide growth and energy,and play a vital role in prevention of  diseases.

A DIET INCLUDING PEANUTS COULD PROVIDE ALL THESE VITAL NUTRIENTS,AND PLAY A CRITICAL ROLE IN PREVENTING A PROMOTING GOOD HEALTH.
